Dog Days is an Islander 28 Bahamas, Hull #9. The primary difference between the regular Islander 28 and the Bahamas model seems to be the interior layout. For the Bahamas model, the galley was changed to a U Shape, moving the sink closer to the centerline, and leaving more counter space in the galley. Also, the head was enclosed entirely to starboard, leaving space to port for a hanging locker.
The layout of the standard Islander was also modified through the years, or else owners have made changes in boats that I've seen.
